Absolutely loved this restaurant- you felt welcomed as soon as you walked through the door. The decor of the restaurant is reminiscent of Cappadocia or Santorini cave hotels. The food was divine- beautifully cooked lamb shish. They bring you bread and salad to start and turkish delight at the end. The waiting staff were amazing- it's because of them that I'm giving a star reviews- super friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Better than any restaurant on Green Lanes! This is my second time at Sumak and I’m just so impressed by everything. The restaurant is really spacious and has nice ambient lighting. They have a mix of smaller and larger tables so perfect setup for a meal with a friend or a larger group. We ordered a large platter for but it could honestly feed . They’re very generous with portions and I like that! The meat itself was succulent and the lamb chops were extremely tender. Not easy to get those right but they did and more. The wings were juicy too and the bread was warm and I enjoyed the mezes.Oh and the waiters were great too! Very attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome.I’m so glad this is a restaurant near me and I will definitely be going here often.

Second visit to Sumak.Good location.Friendly and polite staff. We ordered the ribs and the mixed shish, lamb, chicken, minced lamb. You always get complimentary flat bread, salad, chilli sauce and yogurt. The food didn't take too long, and the meat tasted so succulent and tender. We also got complimentary Turkish delight and Turkish tea, lovely combination.Would definitely visit again. Please note, it wasn't step free access.
